In years past, Kjrn was a renowned skypirate in her homeland, exceedingly good at getting into places that she shouldn't have been and making her way out with a number of treasures and artifacts that she had no business ever laying her hands on. However, as authorities began to crack down more and more on her ilk, Kjrn decided that it was time to retire from life of thievery. Mostly. Now, the viera increases her coin as a merchant, specializing in the selling of jewelry, gems, and other magicked stones under the business name Ivalice Imports. After deciding to set up a base of operations and clientele around Guildereim, Kjrn has also begun to stock elaborate, lavish collars for slaves.
OOC Notes: I don't claim to be an expert on jewelry or gems, so please give me a little leniency when we RP if I have to look something up or fudge a little. I plan to use the TGT Money Purse with Kjrn, but you don't have to use it to roleplay business interactions with her! On that same note, I'm not entirely familiar with pricing customs in TGT, so if you have more insight on the matter, please let me know OOCly if you think the prices listed here are too high/low so I can adjust them accordingly!
Finally, Kjrn has posted a flier on the Tether's corkboard and now has business cards that she's begun to pass out to other merchants, customers, and just about everyone she meets. Feel free to use these as a way for your character to seek her out if they wish to do business with her!

Kjrn has gathered these over the years spent traveling and pirating, and others have come from more honest, legal trades in more recent times. She sells both cut stones for those wishing to buy jewelry / adornment ready pieces as well as uncut stones for both artisans and practitioners of magickal / spiritual arts. Prices listed are based on size - small, medium, and large - of cut stones. Uncut stones are half these prices. Discounts available for bulk purchases, repeat customers, and trades.
Finally, note that Kjrn may not have all of these gemstones available in your preferred state or size at any point in time. Likewise, there are many more gems not listed here that she may possess or be able to find. If there is demand for any gems she does not currently possess, Kjrn will do her best to procure them for a client in a most timely manner.

Kjrn's homeland of Ivalice, which is where a large portion of her stock hails from, is rich in a number of different stones imbued with magickal energies. She has now decided to test the market for them in Guildereim, seeking to sell them towards practitioners of magickal arts, scholars, and fighters. However, until she establishes a steady demand for these items, her stock is quite low. Price varies with quality, with more pure stones holding more / more powerful magickal energies and, naturally, costing a good deal more coin.
Magicite
This is a light sea green, irregularly shaped crystal that is commonly found in the mines of Ivalice. It is your run-of-the-mill source of magickal energy and power, perfect for use for those who require external sources to draw upon for their magickal, spiritual, or other abilities. It can also be used to power trinkets and machinery, with more potent pieces of magicite even being able to power airships. The amount of power contained within is based on the quality and size of the stone. The magickal energy inside the magicite stone is non-renewable and after a few uses, will be depleted. It is not as strong as Manufacted Nethicite nor Auracite, but it lacks negative side effects from use / exposure and is also very easily acquired.

Manufacted Nethicite
This is a man-made crystal which is very regular, has an almost egg-like shape, and emits a bright glowing blue light once it becomes active. Manufacted nethicite inherently contains no magickal energy. However, it has the ability to absorb or disrupt magic aimed at its holder. Only once it has absorbed magic does it then become active. Quality with these crystals refers to how much energy they can absorb. Once magickal energy has been absorbed, the power within the crystal can then be drawn upon to drastically increase the bearer's physical and magickal abilities depending.
However, manufacted nethicite is toxic to mortal creatures. Excessive usage will, over time, cause the bearer's body to break down into magickal energy with the nethicite will then drain. Kjrn advises that if one begins to feel lethargic, sudden changes in mood or behavior, or just senses that something is generally wrong while in possession of manufacted nethicite that they destroy the crystal immediately and release the energy inside.

Auracite
This crystal is large and irregularly shaped, containing brilliant hues of reds, oranges, purples, and glossy black. They are much, much more powerful containers of magickal energy as compared to Magicite, but also exceedingly more rare. Kjrn only rarely comes across these crystals through some old connections, and they cost her a pretty penny. Due to its exceedingly strong nature, auracite is particularly suited for use in very intensive magickal and spiritual rituals, especially in the case of summonings.
Auracite also has side effects, much like nethicite. It drains the 'anima' - the ability to feel all emotion - from the user over time. At first, it is just a barely noticeable dulling of emotion. However, over time, it can completely drain someone of their ability to feel anything emotionally. The only way to remedy it is to destroy the crystal after its use and then wait, as the emotions will slowly come back over time. Likewise, due to its powerful nature, under-experienced users can very easily lose control over the auracite when using it. As such, it is recommended for usage by highly skilled individuals only.

As a merchant actively involved in the gemstone trade, Kjrn also dabbles in the buying and reselling of jewelry when she believes she can make a profit. Likewise, since coming to the Tether, she has decided to buy up a few ornate, lavish slave collars to resell for a profit on the island as well. Some smaller pieces are kept on her person when she's out and about. However, she carefully sketches other items and particularly expensive pieces on parchment paper and carries the drawings around with her in order to given buyers a preview instead of constantly going back and forth between her room and her clients. Perfect to accentuate a well-behaved, beautiful harem slave. An ornate braided golden collar with a number of dark blue beryl stones, as well as a number of dangling chains.
Sturdy Gold and Silver Collar - [ x ] - Price: 4
This collar is constructed from gold and silver and etched with a number of beautiful designs, yet is still quite sturdy.

Though her day job is that of an honest merchant nowadays, Kjrn hasn't completely abandoned her old ways of sky piracy and thievery, nor all the connections that come with it. Every now and then, she offers up her exceptional talents to customers willing to pay a handsome penny to get their hands on something they themselves cannot obtain, whether that be due to rarity, great distances, or to the fact that it's already in someone else's possession. Nor does the object she seeks out for a client always have to be physical. In the past, she's collected information for others, been the carrier of messages to distant places, and even dabbled a bit in spying if the coin was good.
Therefore, if your character is in need of someone to steal something for them, ship or import goods for them or their business, find and bring them rare materials, gather or send some information, or even just keep tabs on someone, Kjrn may offer these services to them. However, keep in mind that the price is certainly not cheap, nor is Kjrn always willing to accept an offered job if she feels the risk outweighs the reward.
OOC Note: If your character hires Kjrn to steal from someone, she will be stealing from an NPC. The only time she will steal something from another player character is if the victim of the theft consents to the taking of the object OOCly beforehand (which is your responsibility to verify) or if the other character is your own. This is because, obviously, I don't want Kjrn being caught unless you can offer me a really tempting plot to go along with that scenario. Feel free to send any questions or ideas to me in whispers!
